How to deal with people with twisted perception of customer service.

I’m tired of having to explain to people that we are severely short staffer and that we are trying to do the best we can to get their work done. But no, nobody gets it. It’s ok for everyone else to be short staffed but not us. We have to drop everything and roll the red carpet out for you. What’s that? You’ve “spent thousands of dollars” at our dealership? Well good for you, now you get to wait like everyone else around here. How does everyone deal with these people without getting into trouble for telling them to get out or something????
