If the referees in this year's Super Bowl had used the 1965 NFL rule book, the fans would have gone insane. The rules have changed every year. Everyone is expected to keep up to date. So job hunting, workplace hours, pay schedules, CoL, etc. have also changed every year since 1965. But we're all expected to play the same game they played in 1965. Must be nice to be able to ignore reality.
