Quitting a high paying job due to intense stress

I landed a remote writing job that is paying almost twice the salary I could expect from my profession. It has been 2 months since I started working with them. At the beginning, everything was ok. Regular work hours, understandably tight deadlines, nice communication with my coellegues, etc. A month ago, I was informed the company decided to make saturdays a work day. I objected and requested a pay rise since I quit my previous job based on the offer they made. 5 days a week, base salary with no additional benefits. Note that the base salary is quite good even after taxes.

My request has been denied and they advised me to change my mindset as all employees are working under same conditions and everyone must adapt to the pace.

Also, I got paid 12 days later than my payday.

Now, they started to assign me with tasks that are not relevant to my area of expertise. For reference, I am a technical writer, and they want me to write Tweets that will be posted by CEOs-there are 5 of them. They aslo started asking for social media marketing ideas. Again, I don't have any experience at all.

I brought that up today and the response I got is

“I work 10 am-7pm and 10pm-3am shifts” like I was supposed to respect that and accept that it is a necessity to sacrifice my life for this shitty job.

I said “that cannot be healthy” and the repsonse was “it is not, but it is how it is.”

Now, I decided to quit. Cannot calm myself down. They lied to my face about work hours and work days. Also, my responsibilities. They made me quit my old job and they are making my life miserable now.

Worst part is, I don't think I can sue them, since they are headquarted in UAE and I live far far away.
