(visiting the Lego store)
Went into Lego store, saw a train I wanted, asked the employee if there was another one, he said yes. I wanted to connect two because big train energy right.
Anyways, what he told me after made me feel really bad
Since it's a Lego store, I assumed it must've been nice to work there, so I was like;
“hey is it nice to work here?” (implying it must be nice to at least be around Legos during work)
THE GUY STRAIGHT UP SAID “oh of course, I love to help customers” in the fakest employee zombie voice ever and that's when I knew .
And the girl at the register was reciting a whole script instead of talking to me like a normal person and that's also when I knew
That's when I knew these poor employees have been brainwashed by cooperate entities, not even Lego is safe anymore.
To any employers:
I'd rather your employees talk to me normally than have the fake employee personality or recite a script.
And yes, my date and I built a Lego train together and did so on a pretty cool scenic place.
It was a cool date for the most part
