Super frustrated.
I live and work in a small town(Missouri) for a temp agency that provides contingency workers for a factory.
Yesterday I got a call from the factory nurse who said I had to stay home for 5 days because I was in close contact with someone who tested positive for covid.
The temp agency advised me that I should apply for unemployment which I think is wrong in Missouri, which requires you to be able and available to work, which I should only miss this week of work. but u know how losing one pay check can affect your life at 14/hr
How is a nationwide temp agency getting away with this? shouldn't they HAVE to provide sick pay when you are ordered to stay at home?
