is every office job fucked right now?

In November a friend of mine helped me get this office job and since then we've gone through 3 waves of resignations. I've never had a job like this, worked in front facing customer service for years so I'm more used to people physically being in front ofme yelling at me rather than getting ~40 emails of people yelling at me, and it's been hard on my executive functioning. And also while I feel guilty, I also know that these waves of resignations mean I have perfect job security.

So I guess my question is, is this what it's like in every office right now? Is everyone facing an impossible amount of busy work? Is this just structurally built into bullshit jobs, a way to proletarianize/make the jobs precarious?
