While 50 years ago, it was enough for one man to work a blue collar job and support his whole family + afford a home with it, nowadays it's hard to survive with that kind of income. Let alone save for retirement.
Prices of resources like gas, electricity, water, food, accomodation have gone up, but wages are stagnating.
What is the reason behind this?
Is it because of overpopulation and scarcity of resources? Or globalization, so work is outsourced to cheap countries?
It can't just be because rich people have fun on yachts right?
