Last night a friend of mine reached out to me saying the place he works at wants to interview me, I (23m) just left a job I was miserable at a couple week ago to go to a trade school but I feel like a bum sitting around the house. I asked him how much the starting pay was and he said it varies on experience but given that I was a department manager then a warehouse supervisor at my first job I was working at until last August, I should expect 17+ should I get the position.
Fast forward to today, I drove 10 miles to get to this interview, absolutely killed it then received a call stating they were going to start me off part time minimum wage. I was absolutely pissed and told them thank you but do not call me again.
I'm sorry if stories like this aren't allowed but I needed to vent. I know I'm young but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing.
