I just walked out on the most horrible job I ever had.

I recently started working in het most horrible place ever and I continued to do so for about a month. My job (server/dishwasher) was in a restaurant from a large entertainment park. On my first day I noticed the extreme heat/humidity in the restaurant that they created deliberately to give the customers the ''jungle experience'', which made me sweat extreme even though I didn't do anything yet. I talked to the manager and he told me ''you'll get used to it''. After talking with my new co-workers they told me the manager always tells this story so you don't quit immediately. We had to wear a long-sleeved cotton shirt, long black pants and a skirt in those temperatures. We had to wear a long-sleeved cotton shirt, long black pants and a skirt in those temperatures. On my first day I consumed 4 litres of water and had 3 moments I almost passed out from the heat, other co-workers were suffering as well. Customers complained about the heat as well, because it got even hotter when the sun was shining that day. Anyway, I complained about the heat to my manager that it was way too extreme, when he told me again I shouldn't complain and just continue to do the job.

Today I had enough of it, I'm getting paid minimum wage which is way too little for the amount of suffering we had to go through. Also heavily understaffed, most people there don't seem to last more than 2 months reading from the reviews I found later online. I had my daily ''I'm going to pass out from the heat'' moment and complained again to the manager, who as always said I shouldn't complain. I told him to go fuck himself, quit in the middle of the restaurant and now I'm free again!
