Just a rant, tested positive for COVID today and the UK has changed the rules to say self isolation is not mandatory, only recommended. No sick pay from work and my boss had some attitude when I told him.
A lot of my customers are old and vulnerable (at one point today we had 3 in over 90 years old) and spend a considerable amount of time a day in my shop. Boss basically said he didn't care, I wouldn't get sick pay and put the decision on me to either risk infecting them and have enough to live on next month or go without for their sake.
I'm so sick of this shitty company, going to use my time at home to ramp up the job search because this is a joke.
