Reached out to legal aid today to start the intake process. I believe I was retaliated against because of my mental health decline, and having to step away from duties after becoming a caregiver at home. I was met with a demotion after a return to work – I was on disability leave.
It’s going to suck to have to rehash all this stuff up, but I’m hoping it’ll be worth it. I just think they’ll take advantage when they can, because they think I’m too exhausted and emotionally broken to fight back. It’s not about money, it’s about knowing what they’re doing isn’t right.
