I work as a nurse in a major hospital. They eliminated our pandemic bonus of $5/hr which is total crap because honestly what they pay us in my area is embarrassingly low. It really should have been a permanent cost of living adjustment. Seeming as we are at a high acuity and still are busy af.
Anyway then the CEO and her goons come around offering a stupid cookie off of a treat cart for appreciation week. I would appreciate a living wage MAAM. Not a $0.50 crappy cookie. I just told her oh no we aren’t allowed to eat at the nurses station and our break room is being remodeled. Thanks tho.
