Worked at a welding shop up until today. Been treated like absolute dogshit since day 1 but stayed because I needed a skill. Was being verbally abused everyday, called lazy, a motherfucker, etc. Micromanaged to the point I couldn't roll up an extension cord without being told I was doing it wrong. Got tired of it today and told the owner to drop his nasty fucking attitude. They didn't take it well and got inches from my face. I pushed them back and they did NOT like that. They tried to grab me by the throat but missed. Got told to get the fuck out and not come back. Gladly. The entire place is an OSHA violation. That was my final straw. Only reason I hadn't was because I needed the job and I was the only employee, kind of easy to figure out who called OSHA even if it's anonymous. They're set to do an inspection along with the states toxic waste agency (California doesn't allow any chemicals to go in the regular dumpster if it's a business). It feels good to get the last laugh
