So, brief story. I lost my job with a well known animal care company a few months ago and have been struggling for jobs ever since. I had an interview with an Animal hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Interview went great, the manager said he’s gonna put my info in the background check, so he can get me started with them next week as the background check takes 2-3 days. I messaged him on Wednesday asking a question I didn’t ask during the interview. It’s Friday afternoon, after business hours and he still hasn’t replied to the message nor said if the background check was complete. I think I messed up somehow and lost one of the best opportunities I’ve had in a while. Am I overthinking this whole thing? It’s a busy hospital that sees over 80 animals a day I just need some other options
