It's wild to me that some people don't agree that your company should pay you to commute. Not mention paying for gas and car deterioration!
I currently am full time WFH, but our company is pivoting soon to hybrid around 2 days every two weeks. In the most recent email they explicitly said “commuting does not go on your time sheet,” and I just scoffed. It's complete horse shit. If you want me to spend another hour or two to do something unnecessary for the company you should compensate me for it. The work day starts immediately when I get out my front door to go to work and until I get back and that will be reflected in my time sheets.
