Amazon union drive having ripple effects.

My manager informed me today that a manager position that was supposed to be added to our department on April 1st is now being delayed due to the ongoing union effort. She also told me that “all these people don't understand the negative repercussions of pushing for a union” the example she provided was “that our health care quality will drop and we will be forced to switch providers to something more expensive with less coverage”. That her experience with unions was overall bad and therefore any unionization effort by workers at Amazon will be just as bad as her prior experiences with unions at other companies. Her claims of reduced Healthcare is just showing that amazon fully plans to use existing benefits as leverage against their employees for a reason not to unionize, we need Medicare for all so badly so these giant corporations have no control over Healthcare.
