Working at a gas station in a small town is just about the only job I can think of that's worth 9/hr. Even less since I get child support taken out. I bring home 500 after tax and child support a month to babysit a cash register. I couldn't imagine doing anything more than that and being happy about my pay.
I sweep, take out the trash and enjoy air conditioning, and permascroll reddit. If you're doing anything more than this for 9 an hour you need to ask for a fucking raise.
My gf makes 9.50 as a manager next door at the BK and I think it's bullshit that she gets paid fifty cents more an hour to do like ten times the work.
If you see someone being rude to a fast food worker, please punch them in public. I mean lay their asses out. They work way too hard and get paid too little to put up with rude customers.
