The company I work for might be fired, what do I do

Hey, I worked in residential building as a desk clerk from some security company. with almost to no work except greeting residents and checking the security cameras now and then. 2 months ago the person above me(from management) quit and I was given his position with a pay raise. So now I do some basic bookkeeping – no degree or anything just trained to basically insert data from bank statements of around 100 residents and output invoices, receipts, pay requests. The job consists of a lot of phone calls, explaining payments, following up after people's bills, The title is Tenant Relations Representative and bookkeeping. I also represent the tenants of the tower in front of whomever.

Some clerks have been falling asleep during the night shift, so the managing company decided to warn the clerk's company(a security firm which I come from) and I was also told by the tower's manager that they may fire the clerk company. I guess I would also lose my current position and will be put in a different residential tower.

I am looking for a new job now and I lied in my resume saying I have 1 year experience in this position when in reality I have only 2 months. The problem is I can't explain why I am leaving or was fired. If I say that I was from a security company it would look very weird, and to say that the entire company was let go off could be a red flag for employers that I did a shit job.

tl;dr I got promoted to do tasks that a security clerk would usually not do. And now the managing company is thinking about firing the security company because some clerks fell asleep repeatedly after multiple warnings. So how the fuck do I explain why I resigned or was fired?! And how do I explain that I work from a security clerk's position to do all these things, wtf…
