Like I said, I run the kitchen at a a public school. When the teachers and students had to stay home during the pandemic for distance learning to stay safe my team still had to personally show up each day to make breakfasts and lunches to give out to families for free [All kids eat for free in our school distract] and risk getting sick. This was during the height of the pandemic when all of the fast food places were shut down. But we did it. And yet I still make less than $1,500 a month, and the lowest rent I see in my city is $1,700 a month
