It was performance month this month at TikTok. I recieved decent grades but did not recieve a pay rise. I was supposed to, since I've been working there for 1.5 years. Others who got the same score did. It is disgusting. Nobody is helping me and I am abandoned at work.
The reason for this canbe chalked to how outspoken we are. TikTok pretends to be a humble organisation that promlugates buzzwords like “openess” and “being oppionated”. But when we articulate our very humble grievances, we get punished like I and others did.
Also, the organisation is nepotistic. It is so bad that the most intolerable manager gets a promotion, having fucked things over.
Don't ever use TikTok; not just because they treat us like shit, but because they are slowly programming people into becoming consumers. There's a surge to monetise a bit more, so the organisation is getting more aggressive in that respect. Trust me, TikTok is the end of your mental capacity. Don't use it if you have dignity. There's much more to say.
Anyway, I want to outline some of our articulated demands:
We wanted a better schedule. We are working most weekends and sometimes working 10 days in a row with only one day off. Most of us don't have a social life, feel depressed and are exhausted. That's really about it. They punished me and others for this.
It is repulsive.
