I hate my boss. The most egotistical person I’ve ever worked for who obviously doesn’t think about anyone else. My mom is immunocompromised and I brought covid home. Dad, brother, and I, all are having the worst symptoms. My dad had to be rushed to the ER last night due to troubled breathing.
He deleted his Facebook post when he came in the next day to work for a shift after testing positive, but I have a screenshot of the email saying he is positive and will be staying home.
My boss has asked if this experience has soured my relationship with the company (no shit) and has said that if I want to find another job it’s understandable, however he wants to know so he can hire someone to replace me as my position is integral to the day to day of the office and they’re losing it without me right now.
I am making it seem like it’s no big deal to me and that I’m still coming back to work so he is ‘holding down the fort’ until I come back.
Needless to say I’m never going back, and on the day they expect me at the office I’m going to tell him I’m still sick and need more days off.
