Not to insinuate that younger generation are morally superior per se, but they unarguably have a broader awareness of fairness and exploitation, and less of a spirit broken workhorse mentality which perpetuates the master-slave dynamic.
Do you think we will see dramatic sweeping changes when they reach the upper echelons of organisations, politics etc in 20 or so years, or will the system wring the youthful idealism from their hearts and lead them to become intoxicated with the newfound influence and affluence so that they essentially take up the mantle of their predecessors?
I’ve already seen some friends make the “awkward shuffle to the right” as they expand their bank accounts and certainly such positions seem primed for those who are inclined to being cut-throat and dominant more so than egalitarian, at least thus far.
How do you see it playing out?
