I'm an associate with a long history of managerial experience. I'm applying for an open management position at my store, which I've been verbally guaranteed for months. I've even already been given a key to the store. I'm an internal candidate, the only one being considered, and had to do four interviews anyway. Just finished the last one with the “final boss” so to speak. They told me high turnover was good sometimes when I said I think it's important to foster an environment that retains workers. I'm so grossed out by all of this.
