Today, my manager sent me a message that said “good morning. Listen to these calls.” I click the links and they’re my own calls. No context or anything else as to why she’s sent me my own calls and wands me to listen to them. So I’m like “okay??”. Fast forward two hours later, I’m in a meeting with my manager, the CEO, and another manager. And they lit my ass UP about how horrible my calls have been…I guess since forever? I’ve been on the job for nine weeks. Never gotten any type of training, warning, OR notice that my calls were not up to quality. Ever. Never ever ever ever. Nine weeks straight. Not a damn thing about my calls.
This was the first time I was ever hearing of it and it was in this super serious meeting where they told me everything wrong with my calls and how I’m being put on probation for the next three weeks because I’m way behind everyone else developmentally. And I was also accused of call avoidance because I transferred a customer to another queue so their question could be answered and was told “we’re gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, because the other option will mean SERIOUS problems.”
Like????
And then afterwards, the CEO sends me this document I guess basically like an in incident report. And in the report it says that her and my manager had been receiving reports from “multiple agents” about the quality of my calls.
No one had the decency to come to me and say anything???? Just had me thinking everything was fine, when this is what’s been going on behind the scenes?? I’m the “new person”, everyone has known each other at this job for years. I’m the newest person to be hired in a long time.
Anyways. I’m out. Back on the job hunt. I’m gonna play their game and do their probation tasks until I find another job.
