I work at a coffee shop. Small and locally owned. The owner has a sister. She’s always coming in acting like she owns the place and treating us like her employees even though she has absolutely no stake in the business whatsoever. She comes in today when we have a huge line of people out the door. She skips the line and demands I ring her up. So I do because I know she’s the owners sister and she’ll freak if I step out of line. I ring her up without saying much and give her her change. She starts freaking out and telling all of my coworkers how she’s never been treated so rude and that I had no personality and that I was costing them tips. I finally look over at her and she says “I’m not joking I’m going to report you”. So I say “Maybe you shouldn’t come in here and harass me in front of the customers.”
This is when she absolutely loses her mind. I guess she’s never had a worker that didn’t kiss her ass. She starts screaming “THATS IT I’M CALLING THE OWNERS!! SOMEONE CALL THEM AND GIVE ME THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!!!!” Meanwhile I’m still just ringing up customers.
This is word for word how the conversation went. She had him on speakerphone.
“Your worker breezyeet has treated me worse then I’ve ever been treated in my life.”
Owner: “What did he do?”
“Nothing! That’s the problem!”
Owner: “What did he say?”
“He said I shouldn’t make a scene in front of the customers! Can you believe that?”

I never received a call from an owner or manager about it lol
