Coworkers came in sick, I found out yesterday. Covid? Not sure yet. Im immunosuppressed due to medication I have to take as a result of various health problems.
So yesterday, while on the clock, I was nauseous due to eating something that didn't agree with my stomach. Thankfully that's all that was however it prompted me to talk to a lead about my health and ask what I should do. She said “get tested because some of your coworkers are also not feeling good. Jenny from service desk, and Felicia from register 9 both experiencing symptoms.” Names swapped to respect their privacy btw.
What the flying fuck? So lemme get something straight. I did a fuck up on Saturday where i spilled paint all over the ground at the entrance, the day before I developed symptoms, maybe it's my paranoia, but if I took a bunch of days off starting sunday into thursday due to sickness, not only would I not get paid, but I would probably also get fired for accumulating too many points? What the hell? So make workers come in sick, get me infected with good only knows what, and put me in danger of pneumonia and ards just so waltons can make a quick buck on top of their multibillion dollar cash pile they sit on and eat off of as opposed to tables and chairs?
