About a year ago I started a new job, after a couple of weeks I was quickly promoted to an assistant manager due to my performance. Since November I have been told I’m going to get promoted again and get a raise, but every time we get close to the date something always seems to come up and I get told I will be promoted soon. Fast forward to this week I took a day off and my manager was supposed to cover my team.. I returned on Tuesday to find that nothing was done, no questions had been answered, hours had not been taken care of… nothing.
Long story short I’m starting to think about getting a new job because I feel like I’m being led on since I’m already doing the job that they’re supposed to be promoting me for. What are your thoughts?
