So, my office is a bare-ass beige no-window nightmare. Been working here for over two years so I’ve been making my office more fun/homely.
Then my family caught COVID a few weeks ago, my supervisor gave me permission to telework for two weeks. Her supervisor got mad at her and it was only supposed to be ten days for teleworking/quarantine.
Well, they terminated my telework agreement because they got mad at me working from home for two weeks. Union is PISSED, I am PISSED and I’ve already got three other offers from in-house departments. (All with 100% telework agreements) We just need to sign the paperwork. I started hauling all my “fun” stuff home, just a bare-bones office now.
My supervisor finally stopped by to introduce a new employee (I’m internally screaming for them to run) and she comments about “Oh wow, your office was SO NICE! What happened to all your pictures and cute decorations?”
“I took them home to put in my new office.”
This is the first time she talked to me since revoking my telework agreement and I think she got the hint. She actually had the audacity to comment to this new employee that “this is our best worker!”
Bitch, this WAS your best worker!!!!
