I’ve been using this subreddit as a way to figure out how to negotiate better. I just got my first salaried offer. The base is about 70k but with the relo and the bonus as well as stock shares I would be in the 80-85k range. the job is located in the bay area so cost of living is high. I called the woman from HR today asking for a higher base salary to about 75k. She said she was on PTO but would speak with the hiring manager and get back to me with the amended doc. It has now been 24 hours and she hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Do you guys think I’m being ghosted ?
