Thoughts on future effects of AI on labor?

Basically, AI has already begun to take jobs and will continue at a faster rate as it becomes more advanced. This will put a lot of people out of work, which could potentially be good for the antiwork movement, as more people would resonate with the message of not wanting or even being able to work. Additionally, this would create an abundance of cheap, machine labor, which could increase the supply of many food or health products. However, with cheap labor, we would either be out of work or forced into poor labor conditions ourselves. Hypothetically, this could also be good for the antiwork movement, as it would force many to petition vehemently for a universal basic income. However, this may further the divide between the rich and poor, as the rich will have exponentially more labor than they do now. I've thought about this a bit myself and am…
