So I work for an exclusive client team for a large bank. Basically a customer service role with a fancier title. If you’ve been paying attention you would see the stock/bond market has been down recently… this has basically turned my days into 8 hours straight of people who have more money then I could ever dream of yelling at me all day non stop venting about it (I guess since they don’t actually do any work and just leech off of the working class they have all day to yell at us)… as you could imagine this takes quite a toll on my team and Is mental health, especially figuring I myself am in the market and just watching any chance I had at owning a home ever going away. Well yesterday in our team meeting I finally vented that frustration when prompted by our manager. My team almost immediately agreed and my manager was silent.
Well today I got a slack message from my manager notifying me I would be out on a PIP and have more of my calls reviewed to make sure my attitude isn’t reflected to our most valuable clients. Just all feels so hopeless.
