Most jobs are shit – even the high paying ones. The only thing that’s separates a totally unbearable job from a relatively bearable job is the money.

As soon as I hear “we are like a family here” or “we are a bunch of good people trying to do good work here”, I run for the hills. How much it pays is all I care about. I don't care about any garbage spiel about culture or growth.
