It’s not a secret in my work that I have a very severe food allergy. All my co-workers have been super understanding and go well above and beyond to make sure that me and my food allergy are kept apart.
Yesterday one of my managers decided to harass me about my allergy by trying to offer me to eat something to tell her if it is infact the item I am allergic to. Annoyed as fuck I re-stated that I am deadly allergy and if she will pay my medical bills. The general manager decided to step in and hit me with “I doubt that he is even allergic”.
I am beyond pissed, this is sadly not even the first time either of them have tried to discredit or downplay my allergy. If a customer comes in and states they have an allergy, we have a whole sanitation protocol.
