So, I've been actively interviewing for jobs these last 2 months. My skillset is mostly in corporate but it's not too niche, anyone who's got the skills and knows a thing or two about the field can do my job. I got a call back from a company for a phone interview, but for the majority of the time, the guy on the other end was talking, stalling mostly. The thing that unnerved me was the fact that he emphasized on the fact that the new candidate MUST get along with their coworkers. It was VITAL they get along. Don't get me wrong, part of my job is to be social, but that part isn't as big as they were presenting it. In my resume I did mention I'm pretty social (mostly a butterfly), which is half-true, half a lie. It struck a nerve, but in the heat of the moment I brushed it off. My question is, is this request of theirs a job red flag, or am I overreacting?
