I’ve recently got a Great job at a locally owned store. They pay great for the area AND for being a small business. As a sales associate I’m making $15 an hour.
I’ve been here for a little less than six months and they will soon be making me manager! Woo! (Sounds sus but they’ve had an opening due to their last manager being anti vax and I was hired with the expectation to soon become manager)
Anyway.
I’m going to be bumped up to assistant manager next week (the owner is acting manager as of rn)
And once I’m trained in I’ll be manager.
How much should I ask for?
I was going to say $18 for assistant manager and then $20 once I’m a full time manager. Google says that’s average for most managers. I’m going to be working 4-5 days a week. Is that a fair deal do you think?
