Unionizing with the teamsters

Hello all antiworkers! First off, apologies for formatting as I'm on mobile. I work in public transportation for a fairly large system in the western US, in a right to work state. I was just promoted from light rail operator to light rail system supervisor, and was thrown into the midst of a unionizing effort. The operators are represented by the Amalgamated Transportation Union (ATU), but supervisors have never had a union. Last year, the teamsters opened a dialog, and we are set to vote in the near future. This leads me to a question for current teamsters members. What are your experiences with the teamsters as a whole? Have they been able to deliver on their promises? Is their bargaining and arbitration strength as good as they are leading us to believe? TL/DR Public transportation supervisors voting to unionize with the teamsters. Are they worth it?
