I have been working since I was a teen I started with cleaning houses and landscaping. When I turned 18 I started working as a janitor. When I was around 22 I decided I needed something different or I was going to lose it. I joined a program that helps youth find a job. I was led to the company I'm with now. I help with operations and do admin work amongst other things. I learned a lot of skills and it was a great place to grow since the company was a start up back then. Since I was 12 I wanted to get my eye brow pierced. I was never a person to take risks. I decided to never get it because what if it affected me getting a job. I got it this year at almost 30. Everyone tells me in nuts and can't go to interviews with it in that I'll look unprofessional. I am currently looking for a new job well I'm still employed with my current job. Everything just sounds like absolute sht. Everything just seems like you have to conform and be a lifeless drone for 8 plus hours a day. I have a dog that I take to work with me. I can't find a job where she can continue to go with me. Like damn I'm stuck away from home must of my life can't I at least have my dog with me? The only thing that keeps me going. The place I work at currently is great for a young person but I'm getting older and need benefits and more pay. Plus there's no way to move up because everyone that's there we have all been in the same rolls since the company started. The owner unfortunately is also nuts and it's starting to get annoying since they decided to be more hands on because their business partner left the company. I don't know what job to look for next. I have aging family that I have to consider it sucks that getting a “real” job means I have to loss who I am and be a lifeless drone.
