Does anyone here have a job that does tasks that actually contribute nothing tangible? For example, our company has been doing pointless documentation and implementing project management tasks. We are working more on documentation of pointless things, mostly just made up statistics, then the actual job. We are trying to win a Baldrige award, focusing on Six Sigma that is making everyone less productive, and producing documentation that no one is ever going to read.
