Got Employee of the Month today….

Supervisors response was to scoff and roll his eyes. Seems like an appropriate response, no? How it works: to get EotM you need 3 customers to independently write a letter explaining why you deserve it to be nominated, then the Civil Service Board votes on who gets it. So some back story: supervisor is a constant thorn in the ass, he constantly belittles, knitpicks, and talks down to his employees. On top of that he also gives out tons of wrong advice, which is why him and I don't get along, as I will always correct the false info so no one else gets in trouble for his blatant ignorance. He also doesn't do 10% of the job other supervisors are required to do, 90% of his day is sitting in his office, door closed, watching YouTube. The real icing on the cake is that he was also nominated for EotM by the Director of our department, who is also his stepson. The CSB didn't like this, and rejected his nomination entirely.
