I’ve been seeing a lot of job postings that ask for videos of applicants answering typical/atypical interview questions. It seems so bizarre to require that of us applicants when we already write cover letters (sometimes), email hiring managers to follow up (sometimes) and the most irritating of them all: re-filling out what’s on your resume onto an online HR site because the parsing is terrible. Just seems like a waste of time to me is all.
