Little background; I used to work for this company as a Director of two daycare locations for two years several years ago. Being young and dumb, I didn’t finish my two week notice and left 3 days before my resignation day.
On Monday I put in my two week notice to my part time daycare job. I work there maybe 10 hours a week as a School Age Teacher. In my resignation email I stated that I’m moving out of state so I cannot finish the school year. I found out today that the District Director and COO of the company reached out to my direct supervisor and asked if I was really moving out of state or just lying to them. Does it really matter if I’m lying or not? They don’t need to know why I’m leaving, I was giving them the courtesy of letting them know I can’t finish out the school year.
As much as this ticked me off, I’m sticking out until Friday the 13th. But my question is, should I reach out to that supervisor and tell her that she was completely out of line?
Little background; I used to work for this company as a Director of two separate daycare locations for two school years (September to June) several years ago. Being young and dumb (I was like 21/22), I didn’t finish my two week notice and left 3 days before my resignation day. The new Director already started at my centers I was in charge of. The District Director and COO are brand new to this company as of a few months ago.
