Best Books on Political Histories, Economics, Worker’s Rights, History In General?

I'm on a book binge but I've only read slivers of different historical books. I want to start educating myself on everything my education system should have (US). I'd love all the reccomendations you have for political history for different countries as well as the US, books on Economics, books on Worker's rights, Women's rights, books on (US) Slavery and the Jim Crow Era, books on how other societies and countries functioned through human history etc etc. Journals, primary texts, etc. History classes were always taught with bias by teachers (grew up in the south) and the lack of funding made the actual class material boring. I have a new interest now though, and I want to be able to go back and recall supporting evidence on WHY I am progressive in the way I am. Rather than relying on second hand sources. Feel free to PM me big ass…

Feel free to PM me big ass lists honestly.

Obviously I won't be able to read everything right away, but I want my next books to be educational.
