Am I the only one who doesn’t trust companies these days? For this reason I have 2 jobs instead of 1 high paying job

Anybody else doing this? Since my last “high paying” job fired me to save more money for themselves,… I would rather work for 2 companies instead and incase one fires me I will still be OK financially.
