I’ve been in school working part time on weekends for the last 2 years. I graduated and got a great full time job. I sent my letter in last Saturday and said this upcoming weekend would be my last.
I really don’t like to end things on a bad note so I had decided not to just quit without notice. However I’ve been working in my new job full time all week and I really don’t feel like waking up early and going to work my last two part time shifts this weekend, especially when the job is paying me less than half of what I’m making with my new job.
Would be an asshole for not working this weekend? The company still has at least $1,000 in vacation money for me I’ve never claimed since I worked with them full time before going back to school and working part time and I can’t receive it until I return all my uniform to them. (I’m in Toronto, Canada for reference)
