Hopefully you’re here too because you hate working and you don’t want to work
But you need to pay your bills and be part of the rat race for now. This sub opened your eyes a bit – seeing the countless experiences of others who are just as stuck in this stupid system. The wheel starts turning and you want to make a change. So you start interviewing, and looking for something better
Where are you at in this journey?
I’m on stage four of an interview process – nervous, but excited. Company has fantastic benefits and is fully remote. I’m drinking the kool aid and wearing a festive Hawaiian shirt for this next panel interview to let the team know what they’re in for if they hire me. Current company isn’t a terrible place – I’ve learned a lot, but boss man is a penny pincher and I’m fucking coasting in my role and feel like I’m not using my brain. I am the only employee left who is refusing to go back to the office – weird feeling, but seems like the perfect time to leave. I just want a job (for now) where I can do something a bit more challenging, get paid more, and be somewhere that prioritizes life over work. I’m almost there and hope many of you are as well. Good luck, Godspeed, y’all got this
