NGL I was actually very excited to work today, I convinced almost my entire team at my job to wear red today as part of the general strike against the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v. Wade. All of us are poor so we couldn’t take that day off.
Unfortunately for me I had an extremely rough night last night and ended up getting sick as a result. I feel kind of bad because my at job, Mother’s Day is very busy. But I have to take care of myself and working a busy shift like that will make it worse.
I told my boss(who is best boss ever) that I would try to come if I ended feeling better. Until then I’m sleeping.
