Hello my friends! I always wanted to know what antiwork folks think about this take i have…
I disagree when folks say “You can't control your future, no matter how much effort you put into it” or “If you want financial success you need wealthy parents”
I believe you can become a self made millionaire, the probabilities are extremely small, but it is definitely possible.
i also believe ambition might be largely genetic, if you have low ambition, you will be fine not pursuing bigger things.
I came from a “difficult” background, i might explain it if you guys want to, but i'm currently 22 and i could say im in a decent financial situation, LUCK is a big factor, but you have to be prepared for the moment the opportunity comes.
“Hard work does not mean you will make it” i completely agree with this statement, a contruction worker works very hard but their wages are not the best.
The only point i am trying to make is that is completely possible to reach financial freedom when your preparation and effort meets opportunity.
It all depends how much are you willing to sacrifice, how are you spending your time, recovering after failure and of course, how lucky you are.
do you guys agree or disagree with this?
