Hypothetically, I’m touring an apartment tomorrow but I have no proof of income. Im 24yo male I’m currently living in a very nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment $1500 a month. This is my 3rd apartment I’ve had since I’ve been 18 I’ve been in this one for almost 3 years, good renting history(always paid on time, no evictions etc). This place I’m touring is less expensive than the place I’ve been living but it’s in a good location in the city. I’ve managed to get into these apartments in the past more confidently having a gf at the time(always felt like it’s a better look having a girl{partly because that usually means splitting rent cost for 2 people} but we’re no longer together) but it was always put down that I would be working part time/odd jobs under the table pay. I’m wondering what’s the best chance to go about this. I’ve always had a passion for sneakers and have so many it’s easy to say I’m a sneaker reseller. Cryptocurrency is also something I’ve put in the past. How much would they look into this? Would putting down my current apartments contact info help in the fact that where I’m living now is more expensive/never been a problematic tenant?
