Another attempt , said company does all it can and far more than other competing companies. It operates on a far less profit margin to do so. 10-15% profit margin. The owners not some wealthy CEO like y'all try and claim he comes from blue collar and respects his workers. He wanted better and to be better for his co workers so started his own to do so years ago.
Yet he's reached a point he can't do any more and still wants to. His business is a bid spec meaning he has to compete for work with estimates of cost to do, and general contractors take the lowest bid the competition is fierce and smaller guys doing less for employees have a advantage on the bid table.
Now how can he increase anything to give his workers more ? If he does they won't have work or a job or if have a job working in far worse conditions. Btw the owners salary is less than 6 figures , he didn't take a raise for his first 15 years and salary was only 50k a year . He had employees making more. He's the good guy you want to work for fact is. He needs no union to do employees right just a means to. He needs investors to pay a fair rate to build instead of low balling men that have decades in trade careers . But how does one force that ?
