The company I work for sucks

I work parttime at a sports equipment chain for 12.60/hr (my state's minimum wage is 7.25) but pre-pandemic, they were only paying 9/hr… Only managers are able to work fulltime, and all us “part timers” are scheduled for 6 hour shifts, which is the max amount of time we can work without the company being required to give us a lunch break. The only reason I work there is because I'm fortunate enough to not have too many payments right now, and it's super close to where I live, and the management at my store is super cool. But I don't plan on staying for long.

I get the impression that this company wants me to fully invest in it while offering the absolute minimum in return
